Disability Resource Group
Here are some of the projects we are currently involved in:
ADA Technical Assistance
DRG is an affiliate of the Southeast DBTAC centers, a project of the Burton Blatt Institute at Syracuse University. We provide technical assistance to employers, employees, government officials and many others who need to understand more about the ADA. Read more about who we've helped here.
Emergency Preparedness for All Project:
This project brings together disability organizations, people with disabilities, first emergency responders, and emergency planners to write plans that will improve the likelihood of safety of people with disabilities during disasters along the coast of Georgia. Additionally, people with disabilities receive training and written information on “what to do in an emergency.” Emergency planners and responders have received training by people with disabilities on disability issues that must be considered as a part of emergency preparation. The result of this project is concrete information and processes, which may be used by other geographic areas. Read More
